How Trees Could Represent Cosmic Consciousness

Ever since I was a child, I didn't quite buy into everything that I was being told. I went to church, but I couldn't quite understand what was trying to be relayed to me. I'm not quite sure as to why, I just couldn't get it to stick. Throughout our lifetimes, we will go through experiences that literally shape our reality and influence what we create. I mean, if you think about it, that entirely makes sense because the only real truths that one holds is their own experience. During my time, I have come up with an alternative way that one could possibly draw a mental image as to how "god" may actually work. By no means am I saying that this is the way that it has to be, I am only presenting a different way of thinking.

I know how "god" was explained to me when I was a child, and it just didn't ring true with me. I was told mostly that there is this guy in the sky that's watching everything we do, listening to everything we say, keeping track of said interactions, and waiting for us to die to either punish or reward us. I don't know about you, but that is very similar to the story that we tell our children all year leading up to when they get presents on December 25th. I'm no longer going to use the term "god," it will now be referred to as source.

You have a tree. The trunk is meaty and girthy, so much energy being dispersed throughout the branches and twigs. We could refer to the trunk of the tree as source. We could call the branches and twigs the entire animal kingdom.

Source feeds the light inside of us that ignites the fire for us to do and be. Just like the trunk of the tree feeds the branches and twigs what they need to grow and flourish. The smaller twigs off of the branches die off more quickly just like insects, reptiles, birds, and amphibians. The branches could be looked at as the mammals for they live longer and benefit off of the death and decay from the prior. Inside of the decaying branches we have insects working their tiny hearts out, being little worker ants just so they can feed the hive. Sounds a lot like the rat race that is going on with the human beings here in the U.S. Everyone is on that rat race and giving up their lives to feed the machine.

When the braches, sticks, or twigs fall off and decay they go into the ground and in some way shape or form, they turn back into some type of mineral or nutrient used for a kind of life to thrive. Eventually tying itself back into the roots and back into the trunk. That process is a lot like when we move on, we go through a period of "nirvana and ecstasy." Our being absorbed into source once again feed the collective with the energy that we have become. All the once more to be spit back out into subjective experience, live, seek, and inform, temporarily sleep. Whats a tree do? Puts out branches and twigs, they die, they go through their period of decay, and their energy is used to feed the roots and spread back to source.

Are we like worker ants and for some unknown reason, subconsciously, we have to keep working and getting better and better with everything to feed something else hidden to us? Just like we are unknown to an ant?

All things understood and invented are based on nature.
